Board of Directors
The powers of the corporation shall be exercised, its affairs conducted, and its property controlled by the Board of Directors.
Communications
Identifies opportunities for publicity/public education, works with committee chairs to promote club events, produces club newsletter, helps to manage/update content of CGC website, helps identify/recommend technologies that would enhance communication.
Community Projects
Set grant guidelines, review requests for CGC support and make recommendations to the Board and membership based on relevant findings.
Conservation
To educate members on conservation issues and generate support for related projects.
Endowment
Floral Design
To stimulate learning, experience and appreciation of the art of floral design
Garden History and Design
To learn about the elements of successful garden design in a variety of settings and to document special garden locations for the Smithsonian in accordance with GCA guidelines.
Horticulture
To stimulate knowledge of and experience in growing plants and trees.
Nominating
Finance/Investment Committee
To stimulate learning, experience, and appreciation of the art of photography.
